ArtWorks North East are holding an event at Live Theatre, Newcastle on Tuesday 21 May 2013 from 3.30 to 5.30pm to share the findings of work so far and plans for the next stage of the project.

ArtWorks North East, led by the University of Sunderland in partnership with 10 cultural and social organisations in Tyne & Wear, is developing flexible and modular courses, careers seminars, jointly authored research and the production of a range of learning materials.

Over the past two years this pathfinder project has carried out extensive research through a regional audit, perceptions research, peer-assisted learning, critical conversations and focus groups and this event invites guests for a cup of tea and slice of cake and to hear about the results of this research and how this has shaped its future plans.
